When it comes to raising kunekune pigs on your homestead having reliable sources of information is crucial. Whether you're just starting out or you're an experienced farmer, there's always more to learn. In this blog post, we'll be discussing some of my favorite people to follow for information on kunekune breeding, paddocks, shelter, health and butchering.

1. The EKPA is a great resource for anyone interested in learning more about kunekunes in general. Their videos are engaging and always provide practical advice that you can implement on your own homestead.

He's an expert on sustainable farming practices and has been a vocal advocate for regenerative agriculture for many years. His books and lectures are a must-read for anyone interested in this lifestyle. He has a great video on creating rotational paddocks for pigs.

3. Farmstead Meatsmith on YouTube is another great resource for anyone interested in butchering their own meat. They have a variety of instructional videos on everything from basic knife skills to breaking down a whole pig and weekend classes as well. Even if you're not ready to try this yourself, their videos are fascinating to watch and will give you a new appreciation for the art of butchering.

4. KC Farms on YouTube is a great resource for anyone interested in raising all sorts of animals including kunekune pigs. They have a variety of videos on topics such as housing, breeding, and general care. Their videos are entertaining, easy to follow and packed with helpful information.
