Deposits
Deposits are required to hold any goat that is for sale until
arrangements are made for pick-up. They are not required for
reservations. Deposits are $100 each for does and bucks and $25 each
for wethers. Deposits are not refundable unless the
goat becomes unavailable for sale by our farm, not if the buyer
backs out.
Reservations
We reserve the right to retain any kid to our farm. However
there will be kids available for sale. If you reserve a kid
before birth the quoted price will be honored and you will be given
48 hours to decide whether or not you would like to purchase the
kid. At that time a deposit is required to hold it until its weaned
or arrangements are made for pick-up. If the kids are not reserved
before birth then they will be available on a first come first serve
basis.
Sales
All goats listed for sale will be healthy, and free of any
genetic flaw. We cannot guarantee goats health once they leave our
farm. We try to ensure that all animals are prepared for their new
homes by vaccinations, deworming and hoof trimming. If you have any
questions about our animal care, please ask. We reserve the right to
refuse a sale at any time. If this happens all monies paid will be
refunded. Payment
We accept cash, money order, paypal and checks only if they are
for deposits or payment before pick-up.
WE DO NOT accept checks at
pick-up. If you pay with paypal please include a 3% surcharge for
paypal fees. Any additional costs are the buyer's responsibility. If
you need your goat(s) shipped, a health certificate, additional
testing, etc. this is to be paid up front before done.
Herd Testing
Our first herd test was performed in November 2009 with Negative
results for CAE. We will test annually for our goats. Our herd is
young and growing so we buy from CAE negative herds only. We will
test animals as they join our herd before they kid.
Stud Services
At this time we do NOT offer stud services with our bucks.
